Animal Rescue Force
Animal Rescue Force is a private, non-profit organization established in 1974 to find responsible homes for dogs and cats and to encourage all dog and cat owners to spay and neuter their pets. ARF adopts pets through their two adoption centers at the PetSmart on Route 18, East Brunswick, N.J. and at the Englishtown Auction, Englishtown, N.J in the gray building.
Breast Cancer Society, Inc.
The guiding mission of The Breast Cancer Society is to provide relief to those who suffer from the effects of breast cancer. We also work with and give support to other organizations that share in the goal of helping cancer patients.
Cancer Fund of America
The Cancer Fund of America exists to provide support and services to financially indigent patients, to disseminate information concerning the early detection and prevention of cancer, to provide commodities and gifts-in-kind to hospices and other health care providers and to procure and distribute donated merchandise to various 501(c)(3) nonprofit community service organizations which aid the ill, needy and infants.
Cancer Recovery Foundation of America
The Cancer Recovery Foundation of America (CRFA) is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to educate, empower and encourage cancer patients and family members in the integration of body, mind and spirit into a whole-person health recovery strategy. CRFA encourages the appropriate combination of conventional medical treatment with body, mind and spirit techniques.
Children’s Wish Foundation International
Children's Wish Foundation International is dedicated to bringing joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families. It involves the public in putting children first by providing opportunities for children to experience the enhanced value and quality of life through the magic of a fulfilled wish.
Children’s Cancer Fund of America
Detail of programs and activities:
• To raise funds via direct solicitation of the general public through such means as mail, telephone,
internet, etc. for the support of the charity's program.
Mission / Program:
• To give meaningful support to children and their families through direct and indirect financial aid,
such as monetary grants and commodities, and all other means deemed appropriate to aid in alleviating
the distress brought on by cancer.
• To educate the general public and cancer patients about cancer and various issues surrounding it.
• To educate the general public about the existence of Children's Cancer Fund of America and the
services that it provides.
Eye Defects Research Foundation
Our organization is dedicated to support research into birth defects of the eye. We also provide financial support to the financially disadvantage for surgical treatment.
National Veterans Services Fund, Inc.
The National Veterans Services Fund, Inc. has been providing case-managed social services and
limited medical assistance to Vietnam- and Persian Gulf War-veterans and their families, with a focus
on families with disabled children, since 1978.
Polly Klaas® Foundation
The Polly Klaas Foundation is a national nonprofit that helps find missing children, prevents children from going missing, and promotes laws like Amber Alert that help keep children safe. We have helped more than 6,900 families of missing children, counseling them on ways to find their children and work with law enforcement. We make and distribute posters of missing children for these families, and have a national eVolunteer force that distributes posters of missing children in their communities. Our
hotline has been answered 24/7 since 1993, and we publish and distribute child safety information to people around the world.
